Those interested should send a letter of intent along with their CV to Peter Koveos at jde@syr.edu.
The new Editor must:

•   Be able to continue and enhance the Journal’s editorial mission
•   Have a successful research record and be respected within the discipline
•   Identify appropriate editorial board members and be able to extract meaningful contributions
  from them
•   Establish a network of knowledgeable and suitable reviewers and guide them through the
  review process
•   Communicate effectively and on timely basis with the authors and publisher (World Scientific
  Publishing Company)
•   Have excellent administrative and organizational skills
•   Have the support of her/his institution
•   Be able to organize Special Issues

​The JDE is published four times a year by the World Scientific Publishing Company. The Journal provides a forum for the dissemination of empirical and theoretical research that focuses on issues concerning microenterprise and small business development, especially under conditions of adversity. Articles cover a broad range of topics, including international developmental entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship in the informal economy, challenges and opportunities unique to minority and women entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship and self-employment in developing context, and networks within and among entrepreneurial ventures.
It is anticipated that the new Editor will assume her/his responsibilities at the beginning of 2018. Letters of intent will be accepted until May 31, or until the position is filled.

Does anyone currently run or know of a student run marketing and entrepreneurship club?
 
Marlene Jensen of Lock Haven University is looking for project ideas:
What are interesting projects for such a club (e.g. a website to sell art created by art students, where profits, if any (after payment to the artists), would go back into the club or into other student run projects)?
“But our school is telling us that launching a business is not an appropriate activity for a student club(!) Does anyone know of schools that do allow it - so I can try to change our university's opinion? Any details you could provide would be most appreciated!”
